NRG stands with those who grieve the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor. These recent tragedies and those that came before are reflective of the bias and racism that continues to exist in our society. As a company made up of nearly 5,000 people, each with their own cultures, background and experiences, we work each day to create an environment where people can bring their authentic selves to work. We respect, recognize and celebrate that our differences shape us, and that diversity makes us stronger.
There is no place in this organization or in our communities for injustice or inequality. We urge leaders to take meaningful action to address racism and brutality. While nothing can erase the tragedies that have taken place, doing so promptly and meaningfully can help shape a better future.
