Joshua Young has been with NRG (via Direct Energy) for seven years. With Direct Energy, he worked across various teams, including Demand Response, PJM Power Pricing, Marketing, and Corporate Communications. His current focus is on Strategic Customer Services, where he works with commercial and industrial customers to develop supply and demand-side strategies to manage risk in the energy market. He also provides information on changing market fundamentals and opportunities through customer-specific reporting and advanced market analysis. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where he initially focused on the drilling and refining side of the energy sector but later found himself drawn to the supply side. He lives in Pittsburgh where he enjoys walking, hiking, time at the gym, spending time with family, and rooting for the Steelers.
