What are carbon offsets?

Carbon offsets are one of the few internationally recognized ways to reduce GHG emissions now. One carbon offset is equivalent to compensating for one metric ton of your carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions. Depending on the type of offset used, emissions can either be prevented from going into the atmosphere or removed from the atmosphere. With a decade of experience in carbon offsets, NRG leverages the widest network of projects to ensure your custom plan aligns with your company’s values and objectives.

NRG’s Target Carbon connects organizations like yours with vetted, reputable carbon offset projects to compensate for all or a portion of your greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Vetted, high-quality projects

Trust NRG to source only legitimate projects endorsed by North America’s most credible and well-recognized voluntary carbon project registries.
