Jon deJong - Manager, Load Analytics and Meteorology, NRG Energy, Inc.

 

Jon provides day-to-day weather updates for all the major ISOs across North America with an increasing focus on renewables and seasonal forecasting. His 18-year professional forecast experience spans weather and climate impacts to industries including pro sports teams, the Department of Transportation, ERCOT, and railroads in the western U.S. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from St. Cloud State University.

Joseph Houck - Senior Client Strategy Manager, NRG Energy, Inc.

 

Joseph Houck serves as Senior Client Strategy Manager at NRG. His professional background includes gas and power trading, scheduling, capacity, and renewable procurement. Over the last 19 years, Joe has held various positions including scheduler, trader, and retail portfolio manager before joining Strategic Client Services. There, he manages a team of strategists that work with customers in deregulated markets across the U.S. and Canada to achieve goals focused on managing energy spend for both natural gas and power.
