Jon deJong - Manager, Load Analytics and Meteorology, NRG Energy, Inc.

 

Jon provides day-to-day weather updates for all the major ISOs across North America with an increasing focus on renewables and seasonal forecasting. His 18-year professional forecast experience spans weather and climate impacts to industries including pro sports teams, the Department of Transportation, ERCOT, and railroads in the western U.S. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from St. Cloud State University.

Dylan Haas - Client Strategist, Sales Operations East, NRG Energy, Inc.

 

Dylan works with large and complex customers to offer insight and fundamental analysis of the gas and power markets in and around New York City. This helps customers hedge correctly in accordance with their risk profiles. He began his career with Direct Energy and joined NRG through the recent acquisition. Prior to working broader eastern sales, he specialized in PJM and worked with customers in and around western Pennsylvania. Dylan received his Bachelor of Science in Energy Business and Finance from Penn State University, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona.

Hans Rottmann - Senior Manager, Technical Sales East, NRG Energy, Inc.

 

Hans leads a team that works with sales representatives to offer energy solutions to customers. The solutions include complex retail gas and electric products, renewable services, and demand side capabilities. Hans has over 30 years of experience in the wholesale and retail energy markets, including working with some of Direct Energy’s largest key customers to develop and implement energy procurement strategies. Hans came to NRG via the recent acquisition of Direct Energy, where he started in 2000. Hans received both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Buffalo.

Andrea Raef - Director, Commercial and Industrial Sales West, NRG Energy, Inc.

 

Andrea joined Direct Energy in October 2011 and brings a wealth of knowledge in the fields of energy billing, utilities, and pricing to her current role as Director of C&I sales. She has spent sixteen years in the energy sector, and prior to joining DE, worked at TXU in multiple sales support roles. She understands keenly that energy is always evolving, and that the best way to support her customers is to build relationships, and offer ways to reduce costs. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing Concentration, from University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas.
