Danielle is responsible for advocacy, collaboration, and analysis of Urban Green’s policy initiatives in New York City and the State. Her work covers Local Law 97, all-electric new construction, zoning, benchmarking, the energy code, and the NYS CLCPA. She previously worked at Columbia University’s Earth Institute researching local climate risk information for stakeholder planning and served as project manager for the Third New York City Panel on Climate Change Report. Danielle also worked for environmental nonprofits in Buffalo, NY. She holds a master’s degree in Climate and Society from Columbia University and a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University at Buffalo.
Megan specializes in developing strategic efficiency solutions for NRG's large commercial and industrial clients. With more than a decade of experience in the energy industry, she brings a unique perspective, drawing from her background in project management, marketing, and process planning to optimize facility efficiency. Megan's expertise encompasses distributed energy resources, energy resiliency, sustainable stewardship, and market regulatory policy. Megan holds a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Brockport and is a certified Project Management Professional. Megan's dedication to advancing energy efficiency and sustainability enables NRG Energy to help find smart and sustainable solutions for its customers.
Karen Dieckman has over three decades experience in the energy industry. Beginning her career at Hess Corporation, she held a variety of roles including operations, sales, training and development, and marketing. Upon moving to NRG, Karen joined the Technical Sales team as the representative handling New York, New Jersey, and the mid-Atlantic regions. The Technical Sales team provides strategic commodity solutions across power and natural gas, as well as assisting customers to navigate local laws, demand response programs, and renewable energy programs. Karen holds a B.S. in Business Marketing & Decision Sciences from Miami University, and a Master’s in Business Finance from the University of New Orleans. She currently resides at the Jersey Shore with her family.
With nearly 45 years in the energy sector, Bob brings extensive expertise honed during 13-year tenures with Hess, Direct Energy, and NRG, respectively. His diverse roles, including those in direct sales, and as an account executive and business development manager, showcase his versatile skill set. Bob is a seasoned mentor and leader and has successfully served multiple generations of real estate owners and managers, brokers, consultants, and manufacturers. Based in the NYC Metro area, Bob specializes in multi-family and commercial real estate. His in-depth knowledge of market dynamics and understanding of customers' needs uniquely position him to guide clients through the evolving landscape of NYC's energy sector.
