Jon provides day-to-day weather updates for all the major ISOs across North America with an increasing focus on renewables and seasonal forecasting. His 18-year professional forecast experience spans weather and climate impacts to industries including pro sports teams, the Department of Transportation, ERCOT, and railroads in the western U.S. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from St. Cloud State University.
Tim currently serves as a Structuring Analyst for NRG Energy where he supports sales, operations, marketing, and customers. His role encompasses the dissemination of market intelligence related primarily to natural gas, electricity markets, and periodic involvement in regulatory and renewable data. Tim has worked in the energy sector for more than 36 years. His career started in the oil sector but progressed to natural gas when the market was deregulated in 1992. He has participated in the physical, futures, and derivatives markets. Tim graduated from City University of New York with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.
David brings a wealth of experience to NRG in both the natural gas and power markets. In his current role as a Client Strategist, he specializes in working with large commercial and industrial customers in the Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on market data and intelligence to help manager energy spend and mitigate risk. With his guidance, customers can feel confident making informed decisions about their energy purchasing. David holds a B.S. in Energy Business and Finance from Penn State, and an MBA in Business Administration – Energy Management from Waynesburg University.
Cyndy Reynolds currently serves as Director of Commercial Sales for NRG’s western region. In this capacity, she is responsible for sales strategy and execution of the West Mid-Market sales channels. Her team helps commercial consumers achieve economic and environmental goals by selecting the right energy product for them from NRG’s broad suite of offerings.
Cyndy has been with NRG for 13 years. Prior to NRG, she served with TXU, first as an LCI Account Service Manager, then moving into relationship management with broker sales, and as an LCI sales executive focused on real estate and property management. Collectively, she has over 16 years in the energy sector, in both deregulated power markets and renewables. She enjoys the challenge of aligning the ways that NRG sells with customer purchasing behaviors and offering best-in-class, competitive products across all the NRG family of brands.
Cyndy is a Certified Energy professional and has served six years on the board of the Sun Club with Green Mountain Energy. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration, and an M.B.A.
