Jon deJong - Manager, Load Analytics and Meteorology, NRG Energy, Inc.

 

Jon provides day-to-day weather updates for all the major ISOs across North America with an increasing focus on renewables and seasonal forecasting. His 18-year professional forecast experience spans weather and climate impacts to industries including pro sports teams, the Department of Transportation, ERCOT, and railroads in the western U.S. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from St. Cloud State University.

Lindsey Adamski – Senior Energy Strategist, NRG Energy, Inc.

 

Lindsey Adamski is a Senior Energy Strategist on NRG’s Strategic Client Services team, working with Midcontinent retail commercial and industrial customers. In her role, she provides a strategic approach to commodity electric and natural gas purchasing, grid programs like demand response, on-site generation, energy efficiency, and sustainability to help clients meet their energy needs. Lindsey has over 20 years of energy industry experience and a strong analytical background, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

Zane Kershner - Technical Sales Representative, NRG Energy, Inc.

 

Zane Kershner currently serves as the Technical Sales Representative for the PJM Mid-Atlantic region.  The Technical Sales team works with account executives to offer energy solutions to customers. Zane has 20 years of experience in the wholesale and retail energy markets, including working with some of NRG’s largest key customers to develop and implement energy procurement strategies.  He came to NRG via the recent acquisition of Direct Energy, where he started in 2018.  Prior to joining Direct Energy, Zane was a Wholesale Energy Trader at Talen Energy, where he was responsible for the forward hedging of the 5,500 MW gas-fired generation fleet.  Zane holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science, cum laude, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from DeSales University.

Adam Kainer – Senior Manager, Indirect Sales, NRG Energy, Inc.

 

Adam Kainer serves as Senior Manager of Indirect Sales for NRG’s Western region, overseeing strategic partnerships and channel development across Texas and California. With over 14 years of sales leadership experience, he specializes in business development and partner management, consistently driving growth through collaboration and strategic execution. He is also an active member of the Texas Energy Professionals Association (TEPA), where he volunteers on the Events Committee to help foster meaningful industry connections. Adam earned his bachelor’s degree in Health and Fitness Management, with a minor in Business Management, from Texas State University.
