Sam has 14 years of experience in the energy industry, with a background in multiple competitive markets. Prior to joining NRG, Sam worked for some of the largest energy consultants and energy suppliers in the U.S. For NRG, he serves on the Technical Sales team as the representative focusing on the PJM and MISO regions. Sam is responsible for strategic power and gas solutions, as well as assisting customers with their demand response and renewable energy needs. He holds a B.S. in Business Marketing from Illinois State University, and an MASc in Environmental Management, focusing on Energy and Sustainability, from the University of Denver.
Elizabeth has over a decade of energy industry experience in North American regulated and deregulated markets. For the Technical Sales team, she specializes in the PJM, NYISO and NEISO regions, providing strategic solutions such as managed products, demand response, and renewables for commodity customers. She holds both CEM and CEP accreditation, and a B.S. from Medaille University.
John brings over 25 years of energy industry experience to his role as Senior Sales Manager for the Mid-Continent region. He began his career in 1997 with Louisville Gas & Electric Energy and has since held key positions at ProLiance Energy, Hess Energy, Direct Energy, and now NRG Business. John’s expertise spans both wholesale and retail energy markets, with a strong focus on natural gas, power, demand response, and sustainability solutions. Since joining NRG’s Sales organization in 2024, he has led strategic growth initiatives across the Mid-Continent region, helping customers navigate a dynamic energy landscape. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Bellarmine University and an MBA from the University of Louisville — credentials that complement his deep industry insight and leadership acumen.
